UX UI of Website Redesign

Website: https://alliancecan.ca

Client Needs

The client had rebranded and needed to update the design and the content to reflect a new, one-stop-shop for all the information and services The Alliance provided to Canadian researchers.

Approach

Our team started by performing an extensive discovery phase, involving detailed user personas to identify the needs of its target audience. This outlined a new content plan and design allowing the new website to cater optimally to its audience and lead them to the information and services they need. The site was built following our standard iterative process, reviewing the progress with the client and getting feedback at regular intervals. Migration was handled manually as there was no simple option for an automated migration from the old CMS platform. Additionally, we migrated other content from other related websites and documents provided by the client, as well as incorporating brand new French translations.

Results

The Alliance’s new website features a bold and industry advanced look and feel, giving it a commanding presence and distinguishing it as a leader in its industry. Combined with a smooth user experience and interface, the new website really helps put the Alliance at the forefront. The Alliance website is available in English and French.
